Leadership Development Services

As a facilitator I design and host events and processes where people connect with each other and ideas, think bigger, smarter, and wiser, create meaning and change, and embrace responsibility and accountability.

Leadership Team Workshops and Retreats

I work with leadership teams that want to make a difference with why and how they do their work. If your team is ready to go big and beautiful (and really, isn’t this why we get up in the morning?), then let’s talk.

My leadership team expertise includes:

  • Creating and working with purposeful and actionable team visions, goals, and agreements
  • Shifting emotional intelligence from intellectual understanding to leadership behaviours
  • Creative problem-solving and making bold and smart decisions effectively and responsibly
  • Communicating with awareness and curiosity for results
  • Developing and sustaining team psychological safety
  • Embracing accountability for a healthy, productive, and trust-based work-place culture

Leadership Team events are facilitated in-person. Optional online post-session check-ins may be arranged.

Governance Workshops

How a board works together and works with the CEO or executive director (ED) sets the culture for and shapes the success of not-for-profits, community-based organizations, and public libraries.

This is too important to leave to chance.

My governance expertise includes:

  • Creating a governance team vision and expectations (the team being the board and CEO / ED)
  • Building trust as a governance team with role clarity, transparency and accountability
  • Reengaging with strategic direction and plans in times of change or uncertainty
  • Chairing and participating in fiduciary, strategic, and generative discussions
  • Leading and governing organizational culture and success
  • Communicating with awareness and curiosity for results
  • Facilitating board assessments and development plans
  • Developing advocacy, influence, and relationship building plans

Governance Team events are facilitated in-person.

Courageous Leadership Talks

Seasoned, new, and emerging leaders are wanting a sense of being called to something that is bigger than their ever-growing to-do list, inboxes, and compliancy obligations. They want to connect with each other and explore and be inspired by ideas, behaviours, and real possibilities and actions for a better world. A world in which their work and their organizations build trust, civility, shared prosperity, and stable safe communities in which individual dreams and shared democratic values flourish.

We need space and time to come together and talk about courageous leadership; a leadership rooted in ethics, compassion, integrity, responsibility, and accountability.

Invite me to your next leadership meeting, conference, or college or university classroom, and together we will grow the courageous leaders community.
